While having breakfast this morning, I have noticed that human like to shake their legs...at least 6 people were shaking either one of their legs whilst having breakfast (you can call it a hobby...for which I always like to observe human character, nature or behaviour when I am relaxing).I also noticed I also do the same act which realising it. Why do we do it ?
Don't believe...please observe the next time when you are at coffee shop.
Are our legs communicating to each others on that basis ? Definitely not !
I have surfed the net for answers...and found that it could be probably just due to sleep disorder or neurological disorder ?
Not enough sleep, difficult to sleep or waking up too early or having unrefreshing sleep could lead to restless legs.
As for old man talks...it may just show that we are too comfortable and relax...nothing to do with sleep or neuron..."we may be "Chia ba beh pau" ! Others said don't shake your legs..you may be shaking off a lot of lucks.
Well, if you are shaking too much, please see your medical doctor to find out the real reason.

Hey, leg-shaking is not like our heart beating ok, you can stop it if you want to. It's simply plain bad habit!
Do you know how irritating it is to have someone shaking there legs on the chair behind you at the movies? Or when the person shakes his legs so much it makes the table tremble. Hai yo, so rude!
Of course if you are watching movies, you dont do that...I agree it is a bad act. There was a near fight the last time...between an old lady and a young man over this similar act.
But you dont irritate others if you do it normally at a coffee shop. there is no touching on the table...but the person just do it on convenient.
So...have not seen a lady doing it. Will observe them (but must be careful if not may be misconstrued with other intention:))
Ivy, there are two types of reflects, one is you cannot control and one you can control partially.
a) Those cannot control totally though you like to are like heart beat, urinating (especially after you release the gate of the waterfall..dont try to force closing the door...the result will be devastating)
b) Those you can stop for a while...like breathing, shitting...
I noticed that in cold winter night shaking your leg is a way to keep the blood circulated and the body warm.

I would agree that most of the guys like shaking their leg/legs including myself, heroes. It's a habit and uncontrolable and you would feel great and relaxing while shaking your leg/legs.
Of course I will not touch the table or chair (in the cinema)while shaking leg as it's the basic skill of shaking leg/legs one must learn.
Yes, I ever seen ladies shaking their leg/legs too. But those shaking leg/legs with mini skirts is a A++.... :-) and we guys heart beat in parallel with the shaking rates. That's a great enjoyment and live longer. Don't you agree, guys?
