Million Smiles

A group photo taken at last night's gathering. I am not good in uploading the photo as sometime the photos cannot be enlarged when it is published on net....still not too sure why...so this round..I have waited for the photo to be uploaded (slow as the 3G signal is weak at my place)and only then I started to write few words.
Now you can see clearer...

Year End Gathering 2007

It has been while since my last home gathering with friends. Tonight, we have a family gathering among friends at my house. The idea was mooted sometime in middle of last month as we felt we should have small gathering among family to enable family members to know each other better and this can be helpful in time of need.

In all, we are estimating 10 adults and 16 children will be in my house. In fact, I am quite worry that the number would swell much further that my little house would not able to cater for such number and we may need a professional place to provide better cosy environment. But with support and encouragement from organising friends, I believe we shall have a great evening tonight.

We shall start our programme at 6pm as to cater for those with kids that we believe may need to have early break..or some may go for late night movie etc. It is on potluck basis as everyone have the opportunity to prepare their own food.

We had initially talked about BBQ (our young time favourite) but then again...due to age and kids, we felt it may not serve the best interest for this round.

Few games shall be conducted and a gift exchange event shall also be carried out for the kids.

I look forward to a great evening tonight.

Last 5 days of 2007

Time really flies...today is 27th of December and we have less than 5 days to reach end of 2007 and begin with a new 2008.

Many would have been preparing for year end gathering, singing Aulang syne to a great year whilst embracing the brand new year and I myself are also preparing one gathering among few friends over at my home in the next few days.

At Corporate front, we are scrambling to hit our budget of RM280m by 31/12/2007 (It shall be another record year !). The workout on paper is achievable but the real confirmation would have to be till the eleventh hour...

What is the significant of this situation to us, to me ?

In self improvement world...we always need to ask ourself the following few questions;

What have I achieved in 2007 ? What are the obstacles that I have gone through ? What have I failed to accomplish ?

Then, we need to ask what we are going to do next year ? Our expectation in our quest of excellence ? Our life's wishes ? How have we progress in our quest to achieve what we want in life ?

Remember, our teacher used to ask us to write a New Year Resolution ?? (I remember when I wrote my New Year Resolution for 1990 in my PA class, I achieved what I have written an "A+, the best of all" for PA in the STPM...and this just one of the many real achievements when I wrote down my wishes)

For me,...all these questions have probably been answered partly and yet to be aligned. All I need to complete this task with proper tracking and feedback method. I have to admit that it is always tougher to disciplinely manage our personal things as when compared to corporate responsibility. But hey...the master said that if we cannot do welll on our own personal things, we also could not do well on our corporate engagement.

****

Some shopping malls had already changed tune and started playing the Ding Dong Chiang...building up the Chinese New Year's mood. I saw people started buying the VCD/DVD of CNY songs/movie.

I am still incline to Christmas mood as Christmas shall be celebrated for 12 days till 5th of January 2008. Only after that I will put up CNY songs...to drum up to our Reunion 2008 ! Ya !

Finally, I visited Boulevard today

Since Saturday, 22/12/2007...I have tried to visit Boulevard Shopping Mall, the latest mall in Kuching with my bro-in-law from Sibu but the crazy traffic jam like no law is applicable totally prevented me from entering the main roads.

We have to go other places as there is no way to go there...

Not be discouraged by the first try, we try again the next evening, Sunday...even worst. The traffic jam started even before reaching the 3rd mile flyover.

We have to believe that the fatal attraction is there...but wondering why such a huge turnout though not many shops were ready there.

But we concurred that the place is like a mountain of spilled honey...for sure a lot of ants will be grouping there...

Well, last night...my wife ask me to try another time...this round we go around 8.30pm...yes we manage to pass through the mall after trailing in the jam for at least 20 minutes (in Kuching standard, this is a very bad jam) but decided not to go in as we could not find any parking space nearby, so we ended doing our grocery shopping at our favourite place...Everise 4th Mile.

Ever determined to enter this new mall, hence, after attending Christmas Mass this morning, we want to give another try, yes...we smoothly entered the parking bays (of course as the time is only 9.30a.m).

As I enter the mall, I noticed that it is still very dirty with muds, dusts and unsettled works. I observed no cleaner at sight to clean the mess (probably they are just too tired of mopping in the last few days as expected a lot of footprints made by score of ten thousands of visitors coupled with wet conditions).

We were only in the mall for less than 15 minutes, we decided to leave as there is nothing much to see where many shops are still under renovations and beside the condition is "dirty" with dusts.

Basically, the shopping environment is not conducive as yet. Many shoppers were there probably due to the new opening and all may just want to have a glimpse of the new mall.

I hope the management of the mall will quickly address some of the glaring weaknesses to ensure this hyper mall will truly shine its majestic beauty to all shoppers soonest before few of its rivalry opens out.

The next one will the Spring opening which has been scheduled on 10th January 2008 ! Let's see how they perform...

Happy Birthday To Jesus, My Lord & Brother

It's raining outside and concluded the forecast by the metrological department that this year, we shall be celebrating Wet Christmas. So, if man could forecast yet quite an accurate future...then we would have no doubt in God's love for us as he send his only Son through Mary & Joseph. He had planned this salvation programme in the beginning of time and He fulfill on this very holy night. May the light of Christmas keep you warm, guided and renewed your faith as it lead you in the righteous path of salvation.
***
Millions of money have been spent just on SMSes tonight and the day after....throughout this season of jolly. Is it worth it ? Yes, indeed as I can feel the warm of freindship and kinship, that is priceless and precious bonding. Without this SMS technology, we would have been sending physical cards which is limited and more expensive though may hold different value of reflection.
We cannot just keep silence...can we ? It is rude if we do not reply the message of love and blessing....we must pass on the flame of love so that we could be renewed and transformed...like a Candle...giving light to others,...self-tranformed...

***
Hey, I have a new phone for Christmas....it is my wife who gave this early Christmas present, a cool sleakzy N95 8G (not before my N80 was faulty, suspected due to after heavy usage as Internet modem to my laptop 2 weeks earlier).
It is indeed a different in quality especially the big screen that it has, bigger than the 1st version of N95. It can also display a horizontal show apart from usual vertical stance. Now, I can also download the whole movie to be watched at convenient as the memory bank is 8G.

It has also WIFI function, so I can still browse Internet at Coffee Beans, Starbucks..
So, my dream of having N95 in my earlier post has been fulfilled :)

***
Christmas gifts for my family...I also bought a special gift for my wife (must be vice-versa mah..if not my ears would be longer) and of course not forgetting my kids who have been pestering since they saw the Christmas tree on display in the shopping mall...
They also asked..."Is Santa Clause going to come tonight to give them gifts ?" I do not know who gave them the idea as definitely not from me...
When I am very young (when my age is still a single digit), I used to hang my stoking on the eve of Christmas for Santa to put in the Christmas gift...and in one Christmas...I got a note instead of gift...it is actually a long note from my parents...commenting on my whole year action/attitude bla...bla...a detail appraisal..huh (I wish I could have kept that note, it would be a priceless note)...hehehe...what an experience...(later I found out that they have tight budget that year to buy all 5 of us (4 brothers & a sister...I am touched by their innovative action...though no gift but the note gave a renewal to my life as I take it very seriously as though it is from Papa Santa)

Merry Christmas, Felix Navidad..may you all receive abundant blessings on this Holy Day...

Dong Zhi Festival : The Eleventh Moon falls on 22nd Dec

Why we (Chinese) celebrates this day: always 3 days before Christmas ?

Dong Zhi is the second most important festival of the Chinese calendar.

Celebrated on the longest night of the year, Dong Zhi is the day when sunshine is weakest and daylight shortest. The coming of winter is celebrated by families and is traditionally the time when farmers and fishermen gather food in preparation for the coming cold season. It is also a time for family reunions.

This celebration can be traced to the Chinese belief in yin and yang, which represent balance and harmony in life. It is believed that the yin qualities of darkness and cold are at their most powerful at this time, but it is also the turning point, giving way to the light and warmth of yang.

For this reason, the Dong Zhi Festival is a time for optimism.

Dong Zhi is celebrated in style. The longest night of the year is a time to put on brand new clothes, visit family with gifts and to laugh and drink deep into the long night.

For my family?
We still celebrate this event till today...but minus the "tang yuon" or in foochow "si yang" (dry type mixed with kacang powder). Tonight, I have celebrated with my parents and family of my eldest brother, having sumptuos dinner at a local restaurant.
At young, my mum will cook big time at home...and we children shall burn fire crackers after dinner (only during this occasion, I have the opportunity to drink soft drink...like aiscream soda, sarsi and fanta green). I must admit that Sibu still provide the strong scent of this tradition when compared to bigger city like Kuching or KL, may be because Sibu folks are still pretty a loyal traditional group of people keeping the tradition intact.

I will continue this good tradition as a family reunion activity and also celebration towards a whiter Christmas with love and a brand new year at the corner.
Have a GREAT PARTY.

Leg Shaking

While having breakfast this morning, I have noticed that human like to shake their legs...at least 6 people were shaking either one of their legs whilst having breakfast (you can call it a hobby...for which I always like to observe human character, nature or behaviour when I am relaxing).
I also noticed I also do the same act which realising it. Why do we do it ?
Don't believe...please observe the next time when you are at coffee shop.
Are our legs communicating to each others on that basis ? Definitely not !
I have surfed the net for answers...and found that it could be probably just due to sleep disorder or neurological disorder ?
Not enough sleep, difficult to sleep or waking up too early or having unrefreshing sleep could lead to restless legs.
As for old man talks...it may just show that we are too comfortable and relax...nothing to do with sleep or neuron..."we may be "Chia ba beh pau" ! Others said don't shake your legs..you may be shaking off a lot of lucks.
Well, if you are shaking too much, please see your medical doctor to find out the real reason.
Stay healthy !

Bringing Songs of Christmas Joy To All

Joy to the world, our Lord has come...

Tonight is the first night of my Legion of Mary's Christmas Carol and we have only 3 houses to visit. All in all, this year, we shall have 12 houses to go inclusive of Salvation Army (Children Home) and Chesire Home spread into 4 days this week.

The homes that we visited are homes to all our less fortunate brothers/sisters (the sick, elderly, handicapped, ophans) where we have also weekly assignment visitation to their homes.

We have about 20 of us in white and black, going in convoy of cars...back up by 3 guitarists and 1 drummer.

We really sing our full heart of happiness..what a great evening of joy, sharing with all..

Trip Back to Cinema

It has been more than 4 years since my last movie in a cineplex and tonight, after our tea meetup at around 9pm, instead going for usual beer or bones rejuvenation, Chuan Yew treated Heroes and myself to watch "I am A Legend @ Will Smith" at 10.45pm.

Yeap, I have just arrived home some 15 minutes ago..the movie is great (especially on the part of workout by Will Smith)but the feeling going back to yesteryear's passing of time activity is greater...a fabulous reexperience as nowsaday, with DVD/VCD, I would just watch movie at home.

Going for movie at Cinema is a great relaxation for me especially during 90ies...when I was in U, almost every weekend, I will watch at least a movie...the price is only RM6.00 for having it in Cineplex and if in conventional cinema, it would only cost RM3.00 (the Sun Cinema in Kajang). Sometime, we take bus to KL just to watch on bigger screen. Of course at that time, no VCD (only VCR) and I think VCD only became popular in 1995 onwards and then in 2000...DVDs. I like to watch the Sat night show at 10.45pm as normally it is the first screening of new movie (also because, the timing is more suitable...after squash for 2 hours (4pm-6pm), dinner at 7.30pm, window shopping and will normally arrive home around 1.30a.m after late night supper)

Back in school time, I recalled the sweet memories going for movie at cinema with the 3A8 gang. The ticket price was RM2.00 then. I remembered the infamous cinemas in Sibu;

1. The Kings
2. Palace
3. Cathay
4. Rex
5. King Hua
6. Lido (burnt down...still recalled watching Ti Lung, Chen Kuan Thai or Lo Lei the kungfu movie in the 80ies)
7. Zenith
There was one event back in Form Five, we were watching "Fight Back to School by Stephen Chow", there was a commotion behind us...between an Ahmu and a Taiko...as the Taiko had been shaking his leg over the chair sat by the Ahmu...at the end, AhMu wasasked to leave before fighting occurs...well, that incident costed our concentration for about 5 minutes but I remembered till today.
I have not brought my kids to watch any movie as yet but hopefully soon just like my parents who used to bring us to watch Liew Wen Chen, Ah B, Chi Han, Chin Sian Ling, Ling Fong Chiau etc...Taiwan actors..I remembered as my parents only bought 2 tickets, my brothers and sister would normally sit on the stairs of the cinema (what a sweet memories).
Hope it will be soon...before the school start in January 2008. Cheers !

Computer Geek ?

My first encounter with computer was when I was in Form 4 some 21 years back...at that time, I registered myself as a computer club member. The computer screen is "green" in colour and I cannot remember what sort of programme (DOS?) they are using then...though training was given but I never hooked up to it...so after a week, I dissappear from the aircon room.

Then...when Windows 386/Microsoft Office came into the scene few years, the computer programme becoming more interesting. In late 1993, I bought my first desktop computer costing me about RM3,600.00 (RM2k was given by my brother from his scholarship). A chaplang brand...mostly have Taiwan parts but it is a 386 Edition I. That time, it is a computer fever among the undergraduates. The computer retailer was making tonnes of money...imagine 5,000 students x RM500.00 profit = RM2,500,000.00 profitability shared among the retailers around BBB/Kajang.
This 386 helps me a lot and also my girlfriends (when you have PC, you are adored by many girls even boys as good as you have motobike or car in the campus..hehehe). In fact, it served me for full 3 years...then passed on to my girl friend for another 2 years...by then we sold to our junior for RM800.00.
When I started work, I have no problem in using the PC especially the Microsoft office programme except Power Point where I learnt from my colleagues at work.
My 2nd computer, a 486 2nd Edition came in 1998 where I bought at the same time from the same shop with Heroes costing RM2,800.00. This one is still going strong till today.
The 3rd one came in 2003, when I registered for my MBA course. They packaged it with the course fees (I guess it costs RM3,500.00). It is a Acer laptop, Pentium Celeron 2.00Ghz (see below)...and I am still using it .

Looking back at the pattern of owning computers beside know-how on computer programme...I do not consider myself as a computer geek but just as a casual user.

Last week, I have visited the IT fair in KL...I can notice that a lot of youngters (below age 18) are having laptops and further many are already expert in computer programme beside updating their hardware at every opportunity.

I was advised by my senior many years ago, one computer year is equivalent to 3 months of our human life. So, my 2nd computer is aged 36 years old and my laptop is sweet 16. The phase today may be even faster..

Computer will definitely continue to progress in this information era so must we...even my boss at the age of 60 years old (Asian standard) have to learn how to use emails (my dad is excluded...he is already 70+)...

I would expect my kids will be a computer geek as I planned to give them my PC for them to play around (got reason for my wife to upgrade myself mah...:)) as to give them an early start to computer world.

A Good Wife & Mother

I have recently received a very meaningful email from a friend and this email gave a very desirable admiration for great sacrifice, love and care from "wife and mother" . I write in this blog to admit that indeed it is real from my own experiences. Yes, a husband and father can do the same but generally wife and mother gave more love, attention and support to the family.
I would like to share this good piece of sharing for your reflection;
To all mothers, you are an inspiration....

Mom and Dad were watching TV whenMom said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed."She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches, rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer, ironed a shirt and secured a loose button. She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer. She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry.

She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom. She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the field trip, and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair.

She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store. She put both near her purse.

Mom then washed her face, put on her Night solution & age fighting moisturizer, brushed and flossed her teeth and filed her nails.

Dad called out, "I thought you were going to bed.""I'm on my way," she said. She put some water into the dog's dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked and the patio light was on.

She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and TV's, hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into the hamper, and had a brief conversation with the one up still doing homework.

In her own room, she set the alarm, laid out clothing for the next day, straightened up the shoe rack. She added three things to her 6 most important things to do list. She said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals.

About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular. "I'm going to bed." And he did...without another thought.

Anything extraordinary here? Wonder why women live longer...?

'CAUSE WE ARE MADE FOR THE LONG HAUL. (and we can't die sooner, we still have things to do!!!!)

School mate's Marriage

It has been a while for me since the last one way back...probably 5 years back (frankly I could not recall the actual date/year) attended a classmate's marriage. Today, I received a call from an old classmate (nickname: Forever Living or Shi Bu Liao) informing me that he is going to get married on this coming Wednesday and hoping that I could attend his marriage ceremony. My mind actually went blank for while as I thought it is a joke...but it is real.
I am so happy for him, another one finally settled down. However, I could not confirm on my participation on his wedding event as it falls on Wednesday, a working day for me. Hopefully, I can sort it out soon and able to attend.
In fact, i am anxiously waiting for my other golden friend to settle down...but still, no sound as yet though fresh leads have been given. Hopefully it will very soon...as I have been keeping the angpow for too long...
Last but not least, i am wondering on how many are still single in my class or my form...SHS8890 Alumni.

A New Look Indeed

As I walked into the lobby of my KL Home (for 6 months period between Oct 2006 to March 2007), I can feel the difference...a different world, it just look like a new hotel.
All brightens up! A of lot warmest wishes...Hallo..Mr. Yii, welcome back !...from the bell boy, front counter staff, housekeeping, security to Mr. Riven, the GM himself. I told Riven that I am impressed with the new transformation and start asking him how much had the management spend for this new look ?

"Wait...Mr. Yii, wait till you step into the room...and I want your sincere comments on it", as Riven requested without answering my query. Curiousity floods my mind there and then as I said..ok...ok.

As soon as the counter staff passed me the room key...No. 337, I immediately go up to the room.
Hmm...muach ! ..Indeed the new look is fabulous...the hotel management should have done this transformation during my 6 months stay ! You can see the photo on the new bed and its presentation...

They also placed a new plasma TV sony Bravia 32" on a new 2 in 1 writing table...

Beside the internal building transformation, they have redo the artificial lake to look like a beach front...it is a real cool look (the photo below is taken before the dinner start)

*****

My Company Group Dinner 2007 actually took place for the 1st time on this man-made beach last night and the theme for the night is "Baywatch"(Previous year, it was in the ballroom). A total of about 400 hundred turn up for this grand event of the year. I took a lot of pictures especially the beauties in their sexy beach wear.

The food is fabulous, the MC is hillarious, the band is awesome and the whole environment is cooling with smiles all around. In addition, lucky draw, games and dancing around...a real enjoyment of life.

****

After the dinner event, I am spending two days break over in KL and will meet Pat this Sunday to catch on the latest progress directly from horse's mouth.

Cicada..when was the last time you see it ?

Some 20-30 years back in Sibu, I used to see cicada or in foochow..."nga chi" almost every night especially in my alma mater. It is harmless but like to make a lot of sound. Nowadays, I hardly saw it...I do not know whether my kids had met any of them before ?
I remembered that they have few colours; green, yellow, black and dark green (like the one in photo)
Last night...this special insect was brought in our chat, as we often have them in the SHS library...making a lot of noice beside the frogs...especially during mating season.

When I tried to reflect, these insects, animal even fishes..leh hu may faced extinction especially in the city as the environment may not be conducive for them to live or multiply.

I ever heard from old G that cicada brings happiness to home. How true..I am not too sure but one good thing is children like to play with them...trying to catch them as they fly hitting the walls or the flouresen lights...indirectly giving much joy to children.
Hope can show to my kids to them the next round I bump into them.

A Great Evening On 051207

I had a great gathering of friends last night with old school friends. We are now getting closer, more in touch in the last 6 months than the last 20 years ago since we parted our ways into the society.

Luckily..the old stories still link us to each other, how great it is...especially the time of growing up in the 70ies and 80ies.

I hope we could rekindle and cherish the sweet years of those days...as much memories as possible to ensure everlasting friendship, walk together till the last breath.

I am eager and looking forward to 8th February 2008 (or 8208), that is our 20th Reunion Anniversary. I bet some of us have not hear one another since 20 years ago....some may have forgotten their face...

Yes Or No To Share Photos on Internet

It seems that many of friends are eager to find their old photos to be scanned and post it on the blog or internet sites. Few take it as competition to see who is giving better preview into the past history.
For me, I am hesitating and careful to review whether it is good to just publish photos on the blog as it may pose over exposure to some events which are supposed to be private sharing only between friends (though earlier I have the same urge to bring out my old photos)
Yes or No...? To do it or not ? Do we need to take permission from the rest in the photo ?
I just hope those wanted to post the photos on the blog to review and reflect thoroughly to ensure we are not hurting others (in the photos)..though we may just treat it as leisure. Respect for others ? as such photos is good only for private preview.
If one really still wanted to satisfy one's needs, we can also invite friends to personal album on the internet at least that method is more controlled by way of invitation only.
For me, I think it is better to burn those photos into movie/slide show and share with visiting friends during Christmas/CNY/festivities.

IT Fair that gives Celcom Broadband a Lift..

Yesterday, I am supposed to buy a new HTC dual touch at the IT Fair in Kuching to complement my DIGI broadband usage as for the last 2 weeks I have been changing my sim card on my N80 (troublesome and some people said that by using my handphone as modem, it will reduce the phone life due to heavy usage at maximum level...importantly when I am shiok browsing internet...I will be out of touch as friends cannot contact me)
I did check the HTC price and it was quite pricey at RM2,399 but they offered a lot of goodies...2GB external card, bluetooth ear, RM100 airasia voucher..but then the price is not within my budget...so I hesitated...and walk away to look at other counters...
As I continue with my checking to look at other brands, one Celcom Broadband (wearing blue shirt)staff approached me but I nicely brushed him aside by saying to him that I would have signed up Celcom broadband 6 months earlier if not because of the extra charges for loading and uploading. The staff is blurr with my comments and I sportingly challenge him to check with his boss as this additional charges is a disadvantage to their selling (feeling proud and justified that I have chosen the best broadband value for money as mentioned is my previous blog)
So, I continue on with my window shopping through the IT stores..as I walked back passing by another Celcom store, I was approached by a friendly and pretty face (a local beauty) but nicely I told her that her colleague had approached me on this and briefly told her about my reservation...at that moment, her boss just popped up in front of me and quickly addressed the reservation and assured that Celcom Broadband also provide unlimited usage and no charges for downloading or uploading except for pay sites...to me this is good news as Celcom offers 3G speed whilst DIGI only Edge speed though it is more expensive by RM2 a month. But still not convince, I press for more answer and he assured me that is the fact as he is already using such services (actually we discuss for about 30 minutes). Feeling assured, I registered myself to try it out.
As on my way back, I called up Celcom customer service...1111, they gave me the answer I want...no additional charges for uploading or downloading except for pay sites and this already meet my need on internet usage at this moment (important must be able to browse, uploading blogs without additional charges).
So far, I am still using DIGI services until Celcom's line is up...(tommorow would need to deactivate DIGI...)
Oh,yes...I also bought a Laptopconnect USB service and wireless data service device (an air card - Brand AT&T) costing me RM499.00. Well, better than getting a phone or smart phone as the device can support the speed up to max 3.6Mbps (of course for 3G..it shall be only 384kbps..good for future upgrade...3.5 or 5G).

Last Lap of 2007

Putting up the photo of Carl Lewis (9 gold medalist) is an inspiration for success. He is my 100m and long jump hero...you may read on his story at http://www.carllewis.com/ . A sensational website...exclusive with his personal narration for you...
" Experience life to the fullest, get the most out it, reinvent yourself and go for it again !" Carl Lewis
I am always feeling good about starting a fresh calender month as we could have the opportunity to rearrange our position in the tasks that we do, a quick review session. It is especially good when it is started on a weekend...as I will have extra time to do the review. So, today is 1st Dec, a Saturday and further today is the last 1st of day of the month of the year...isn't it awesome ?

This month I shall work extra smart and hard to ensure all my set goals are achieved or least nearer to the desired results. Review of my goals is important on monthly basis and critically this period as I am also planning for my next year's goals or resolution. When comparing to personal resolution, corporate requirement is relatively easier to be set and followed as probably due to direct pressure from management and constant review.

With my 20th class reunion coming up soon, it seems that time is now shorter and more precious than 20 years back. Casting aside my school time and only looking at those 20 years...what actually have I done ? Having analysed those 20 years, then I need to ask what is my next 20 years to be ? (though many may think...do you still have another 20 years ? well we must always be positive looking forward, isn't it?)

So, if we look at broader perspective, we will be able to carve a graph of our achievement or failure so that we could change for a difference ! (then later it is easier for us to write our bibliography..hehehe )
May we (I) have a great DECEMBER..a time of recollection, rekindling of relationship (reinvent ourself as what Carl Lewis said !) and charting a new course for new 2008 ahead !
