A Deserving Break...

Today is usually busy as it is the eve of Gawai, a big celebration in Sarawak and subsequent to it, long holiday pursues beside it is my office monthend closing (still chasing figure). Indeed almost everyone is looking forward for this break and many had already started their holiday, going back kampong or over sungai or overseas.

This time, I am still considering on where to go as budget is tight and hope for better spending of money though I have been promising my family to bring them to good holidays, a break from my usual routine.

Well, 4 days of resting from 1/6/2007 till 4/6/2007...what should I do ?..May be the following ?

a) Spent quality time with my wife and kids...doing household chores, watching Power rangers or ultraman
b) Reading my favourite management book
c) Playing squash all day long...burning my extra kilos
d) Window shopping...moving one complex to another...
e) Having coffee with my best friends...blowing canon..
f) Going back to Sibu..spending time with my parents/in law
g) Blogging ?
h) Reviewing and charting my success path...
g) Site seeing..

What would you do during holidays ? doing your usual favourite things or try something new ?

I believe, as long as we are spending quality time with our loved ones, that would be the best spending of time and it is worthwhile to have the deserving break...

Have a nice weekend and happy holiday..Cheers

A Great Helper coming

Tommorow is another great feast, we shall be celebrating...Jesus sending helper to us, Holy Spirit..the spirit God, the third person in the Trinity. We called the feast "Pentecost", the descend of the Holy Spirit...which on the day itself, two thousand years ago...the apostles and Mother Mary were strengthened to go out preaching and sharing the Good News without fear.

Today, as we journey our life, we need the same Spirit to strengthen our faith, our objective to live on and serving with love. The challenges in perfecting our faith is ever there and we need him to come to us to fill us our empty vessel with its 9 gifts.

The Holy Spirit, a great helper, a great buddy given to us by our Lord and Brother Jesus who knows each of our weaknesses.

May we be strengthened on our faith and unselfishly share this seed of love with everyone whereever we go as we pass the love on.

Happy Feast Day.

Life is so fragile...

I have just learnt yesterday that one of my classmates had gone back to the Lord on 2nd May 2007 around 9.30 a.m after complaining chest pain. It was an acute heart attack that cost him his life. At the age of 35 years old, he is still very young, energetic, a lot of actitivites awaiting for him as I could see when surfing his blogs some 2 weeks ago..and I felt sad as I unable to comprehend as to why a person at such young stage, non-smoker, with comfortable working life in Labuan could suffer a stroke !

This is a wake up call for me and many of us especially those closer to him as we need to value our loved ones and our special time in this world. Everyday given by the Lord is a blessing indeed for each one as we live through the day. We can never now when is the time for us to go as like my classmate whom I am believe also do not have any indication over his case but we could always prepare as to live our life to the fullest, to live according to our Lord's will, loving one another among our family, support and help the less fortunate and the needy or whatever things we wish to do at will.

This reminds me of;
Do not wait for the time as you will never know when is the last time, go for it and decide the best to shower your love and commitment. Do not keep the best for the last, but give at every opportunity the best you can to deliver the highest statisfaction.

Frankie, my classmate, thank you for your friendship, the time that we have spent together during our school times, a memorable for me.

As today is your funeral, I will lift up my daily prayer to our Lord Jesus & Mother Mary for the repose of your soul, may the perpetual light shine upon you and may you rest in peace. Amen.
