Opportunities Ahead

About two and a half years ago, I have invested in direct share market via a friend's account. It was a good investment and I have earned some handsome profit (to my definition) where I have purchased a parabolic which I have enjoyed till today the fruit of it. Till a year ago, I have opened up my own share account finally and also have been quite active in investing my money but have temporarily stop investing further in the market since 6 months ago as the price of shares has been dropping after the Chinese New Year. I told myself to cease further activities till the price has dropped to rock bottom and also prevent from burning all my reserves...chialat ! (BTW, I have also forgot my online password after long time did not use...so now also cannot trade online...hehehe).

Today, as the biggest news of financial melt down in US with several big giant banks has dropped to their knees and some have declared bankrupt appears....the question of whether I should consider jumping in to buy the future opportunities ? like the one in 1997 (which I miss the boat sadly) to earn the capital gains once overall recovery in the next 3-5 years ? Genting now is 4+, Mayban is 6+ (in 1997, I learned it was down to 3+) An opportunity not to be missed without thorough consideration ? Guys....look down and up, in and out...consider deeply and hopefully we could get the breakthrough through this one big gain !

Hey...before wrapping up your decision...please be careful on the traps and loopholes....we may trap ourself through our ignorance as the situation know may not be rock rock bottom...we must make sure our financial resources are all protected as the situation of what is happening in US may get worst and the rippling effects may just get us (Malaysian) blown off especially when our political stability it at its worst of history.

I have just watched "money not enough 2" dvd this evening...the pain of shortage of money may get one crazy and heartless. It was a touching movie especially how realistic the world of today can be...when I did mention in the comment section of my friend's blog on what can be possible silently cooking in the person's mind which is very critical in forming the killer action which may harm others or selfishly protect themself for their own good and at the expense of others even among family, the avoidance of responsibility is inevitable. It is scary and is serve as reminder.

Whatever in future, I pray all of us will always realise and work towards the goodness in harmony and peaceful relationship in building better homes and community at large.

Well, before moving on with your life, think of the opportunities ahead of us....be positive in life and sieze the day with confidence ! You are a Champion ! Yes ! Semangat Yakin Yes !

Just do not miss the boat without consideration...yeah.

MGB, I'm almost ejaculate when I read "ada duit lebih."

It is so "song" to hear "ada duit lebih" especially at the current economic condition where prices of goods shoot up like "bo chen hu."

Some people struggle like hell even with part time job but you said "ada duit lebih."

Heroes, are you ejaculating as well?

Gr8buds, so glad to see your post...it's such a relief to be a friend to someone who sees opportunities and spread the word, rather than keep focusing on how bleak the world is.

Thank you for making my day! And yes, by all means do your homework, talk to some reliable sources and BUY into the market! My words are only meant for Greatbuds ya....not everybody has an investor mindset, although we all seem to think that we are "investors".

Joe, I am not simply ejaculating as my answer to your query. As I kinda knew MGB's financial situation and I always called him 'kit chai'.

Opportunity... yeah what a good word to be used in share market. An opportunity is not opportunity if one does not know how and when to grab it correctly.

My virgin investment in share market was way back to 1992 when I was working in a local bank and at that time the market was extremely booming and the 'bull' was running unstoppable. All of us were richer by thousands ringgit overnight and it happen everyday. But when the 'bear' was coming, the share price dropped tremendously and when we thought that it was about the 'rock bottom' price, so we went in again.... and it dropped further.. until we were surrendered ourselves... So what's the actual 'rock bottom' line we should take consideration in measuring it??

In 1997, it was the worst in Malaysia history and even the whole Asian market as the Asia Financial Crisis hit the whole entire Asian share market badly. Our KLSE Composite Index hit the history low at below 270 points.

Our current share market is still unstable and furthermore our current government also in a bad shape. A lot of uncertainties that might have a great impact on the share market. So my advise is that don't too rush in investing in the share market and probably wait and see what's would be the result after the UMNO election. Never put our hard earn money on risk as what you could watch in 'Money Not Enough 2'.

As for Genting and Maybank current share price do not represent the actual value as compare with the price in 1997 or 1993 as during the past years, these companies had issued numerous bonus issue of share to the investors and the price were adjusted accordingly. It was happened to other blue chips companies like Tenaga, Public Bank etc...

So friends, do some studies before you want to venture into the share market as it's always a high risk game....

Wish you all the best and invest wisely...

Whatever bull or bear or pili pala, we have all been destined to our destiny by our Almighty.

You just have to do what you think or ought to do or can do but one thing for sure, we must walk our life.

Whatever the end result, just be happy and be contended and be appreciative of what we have been given by the One up there. Thank you, my Lordship. Amen.

Destiny by God....then this is not the belief I believe with my life. God does not decide our future but he gave us the ability to make choices.

from our fore father Adam...he make his choice to eat the apple though he was persuaded by Eve to take it...again he make the choice.

We may be convinced or cheated by others to make the decision but again we are still the one to make the decision....we are still responsible for the choice that we had made..
