LIFE

(This is a contribution story from my wife who had received it from her friend and I thought it is worthwhile to share with all of you)

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its color and drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband. When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.

QUESTIONS :
1. What were the five words ?
2. What is the implication of this story?

Answer Q1.

Darling, we are still young.

Answer Q2.

Never give up as nothing is impossible.

MGB, am I answering your question correctly?

mygreatbuds said...

Not correct...remember after 11 years of marriage...let's say they married at standard age of 28 years old...by now, they would 28+11+2 = 41 years old...are they still young ???

Hmmm...I am sorry you need to think and think further...

I will tell you the suggested answer when Joe and Will responded...

Heroes, dun give up...yet...you may try again...as Joe has not given his answers

Heroes, 41 years old for lady to bear another child...is tough though not impossible. Man may still produce the whole lot of spermies till death....but lady has limitation though occasionally you may hear 80 years old lady gave birth...

Wonder why we says...41 years old and not 41 years young ?...cut the crap...we are getting older..lah (confused ?)

mygreatbuds said...

oops...before I forget, so Heroes, if you want your own "bone meat (Mandarin)", you will need to look for younger young okay...preferably not older than 36years old...(I felt jealous lah...you got SYTs )...eh hehehe :)

Joe has not been quite reckeless lately for no obvious reason.

No, not because of the Monday blue.

No, not because of Germany lost in the game.

No, not because KLSE cause millions homeless.

It is just that Joe has been busy with his new "baby" and that is why you don't get to see him in your blog lately.

MGM, Joe is blushing and feel honoured for you have been waiting patiently and faitfully (not even move an inch) for his answer.

Here it goes.

1) I love you very much

2) Though you have lost someone dearly, you still have someone to love and to be loved.

Congratulation Joseph. Is a "he" or "she"?

How many old babies do you have so far?

Heroes said...

Wow, Joe, congratulation.....no wonder didn't see your comments lately...

Will and Heroes,

Both of you must got me WRONG. I used QUOTATION for that word.

As such it does NOT mean human infant.

P/s MGB, Do I get the answer correct or not wrong??

William said...

Joe,

Let me guess. Your 'baby' is
1. a car
2. a dog
3. a new girl friend

Let me know the answer.

Dear All, all your answers are best describe your own approach when facing the similar situation. Think about it...

Joe, I must salute you as you have the nearest answer for the first question.

The suggested response is; "Darling, I am with you"

For 2nd question..the suggested answer for the lesson is we must always be patience in approaching challenges and not to start blaming others but rather give encouragement as the person suffering is also very hurt and the last thing they want to hear is blaming or scolding action.

Thanks MGB.

You can put your hand down now for you don;t have to salute me for bloody long.

Will, you got your answer right for no. 1.

Sorry MGB. I promise I will look for Tiong next year. Should I make a just ONE statutory declaration first??

mygreatbuds said...

Hmm...Joe, you got your new car, right ? A new car is a new baby ?

Heroes said...

Joe, now there is no guarantee even though you had made a just ONE SD or many many more!!! I think you got what I mean, right?

Anonymous said...

Haha... that LCK who made 2 SDs has obviously given more work to the enforcement officers.

Joe, BTW what's your 'new baby' name? don't tell me is Brangelina...

You are brainy!

How do you manage to find out?? Tell me.. tell me.
