Hoi...Wrong Type of Lemon

No wonder, I didn't get my desired result..lah ! It's all because I had sucked the wrong type of lemon for the past 2 months. When consulted my colleagues over the matter, she gave me the sample of the real type...as per the one oval look and not the two roundish type...

The oval look is the real local lemon...and tested a slight alkaline as advised by my experience colleague. The other one that I sucked is acidic...provide not the right effects..

So, I will try this one again for the next 3 weeks and by 8/5/2008, I will publish my achievement....(silently...aiming for 8kg reduction in 3 weeks..sshhh !). Wish me luck !

MyGreatBuds, please forgive me for being frank, but the only way to reduce weight is to do some simple maths.

Its all about calories. If your daily calorie input (via food & drink) equals your daily calorie output (via exercise, daily activities, etc), then you will maintain your weight.

If your input exceed your output, then you will gain weight.

If your input is less than the output, then, you guessed it, you lose weight! :)

One note of caution about losing weight - losing weight too fast by whatever means is dangerous for your body and health. So, it is better to aim for maybe 1 kg a month.

Another thing to note is that due to the way our body works, losing weight is much harder than gaining it.

Let me share with you my experience of losing 5 kg over a period of 6 months. Exercise wise, I jog between 3 to 5 km once or twice a week. Also, try to walk more and take the stairs more - you'll be surprised how much difference it can make. Also, doing housework is another effective way of burning off the excess calories :)

Food wise, I take a normal breakfast (anything I like), a light or medium lunch, and I try to have a light dinner. Check out any of the online calorie counters - you will be surprised how high calorie some foods and drinks are.

Best of luck! :)

Heroes, MGB threw you a challenge in your blog. Perhaps you can do the same.

MGB, are you ready for the challenge?

Pat, you are 99% right...0.5% is just that the control or discipline in eating what is right is just not there...or 0.5% is due to genetic ???

I am also not been very active in sport nowaday unlike before constantly 3-4 times playing squash @ 45 minutes per session.

Joe/Heroes, I am ready for your challenge any time any place, you name it...say by 14/2/2009...I would weigh in 90 kgs !!! What is the stake ??? (background song...I am feeeling good...)
